The location of Collingwood House in Tynemouth is incredibly comfortable and convenient, being close to North Shields central, Tynemouth, and Newcastle. The room was spacious and offered views of the sea and river mouth.

They provided hypoallergenic and feather pillows before arrival, and the central location and peaceful atmosphere were great, also, the check-in process was easy.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with beautiful views and easy access to Tynemouth village. Parking was a breeze, allowing us to explore the area on foot. The hotel itself felt cosy and welcoming, like a home away from home. The owners were incredibly helpful and available whenever we needed assistance. The spaciousness and comfort of the room were impressive, with ample storage for our belongings. Basic amenities for washing up and a dishwasher were provided, making our stay even more convenient. we had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning to Collingwood House in the future.

This place was perfect, magnificent, in a great neighborhood, and conveniently located next to the market and public transport.

Stayed at this venue for five nights and had a great time.

The location was fantastic, with stunning views and close proximity to shops, cafes, and bars. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, with good storage spaces and basic amenities for washing up. The convenience of having everything we needed within walking distance was a major plus.

There were a few minor equipment lacking, such as a wooden spatula and non-stick frying pan. the Wi-Fi was problematic and we couldn't get it to work, despite the landlords offering assistance.

Great short family break with sea on doorstep & easy access to city

We had a great family break at Collingwood House. The location was perfect, with the sea right on our doorstep and the city within easy reach. The apartment felt like a home away from home, cozy and comfortable. We appreciated the voluntary help from the owners whenever we needed it. I would definitely recommend this place for a family getaway.
